I  didn't realize this was a unisex toilet at the airport, until I walked in to use it. Welcome to Denmark! Bill chuckled while waiting for me outside & snapped this photo for me. 🙄

 We cabbed it to the Marriott, the driver spoke English perfectly and recommended we stay away from 'The Meat District' where the good restaurants are, because of a music-festival called Distortion. ' A week of emerging dance music and orchestrated chaos.'  I wonder why he presumed we weren't attending it?

We go for a walk along the canal, so beautiful & full of locals enjoying the warm temperatures & water. A bird pooped on my face! a sign of good luck, yes?

We returned to the room as the sun set & charged our devices, 

I disconnect from the convertor and  snap, poof & all the lights, AC & TV are dead. uh oh! 

I think the bird poop was not good luck! 

we crawl in to bed & fall asleep. we'll deal with the power/lack of in morning. 

Being the nice big brother, he let me choose which bed I want, so naturally I choose the one nearest the view.  Which also happened to have a rubber mattress cover. Which also became extremely hot to sleep on, due to the lack of AC. Bill offered to switch (to keep me quiet, no doubt) but I just removed the cover & fell asleep. Isn't he the best big brother? Do you think he was secretly wondering if this trip was going to replay our early years of him pacifying me? 😉
