To be continued

It has been far too long since I have posted to my blog account.

You know why.

I have reached a stage where I need to express myself by writing again.

At this time, I don't know if I can revisit all that has happened since my last post in 2007. Since then, my world has been turned upside down and inside out.

I am slowly coming to terms with this but some days I feel like I haven't even acknowledged my loss. All I can say is "This isn't what I signed up for". But life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. I read that somewhere and don't know whose quote it is, but I figure it's a pretty good summary of my time in this world.

As my daughter has done on her blog, this post is in memory of Bob and it will be continued.

Meanwhile I am starting with a journal of current events.

Thank you to all who helped Vanessa, Chris & I on this unbelievable journey. I haven't thanked each of you individually yet, but I hope you understand and know how much we appreciated your words of support and kindness.

But for those of you who might wonder about Bear.....Vanessa's dear friends Tony & Trina adopted him in October 2007. He is a very happy dog, living on the sunshine coast, with 2 young girls to romp with. I get regular updates and an open invitation to visit, which I just might do sometime soon.
