I have time to post to my blog now...and I'm listening to my inner voice (that would be the one that always tells me "why do today what you can postpone 'til tomorrow). It's income tax time.
I hate working on ours. It seems so redundant doesn't it? And today I was writing the 24th on everything. I think it was my subconscious trying to buy me 2 extra days to do the taxes. sigh....I know....deadline looms. I hope the local post office will stay open until midnite to date stamp my envelope....of course, it is also the local liquor store so that might be a conflict of interest...but what do the feds care....they'll collect tax on the booze that gets sold when people drop off their income tax package.
I digress.

This is the center of our back yard. The pampas grass was trampled in the winter storms. And I have no idea what those 2 bushes are. The ocean is just beyond the grove of trees and down a cliff.

Chile waiting to go for a walk last November. He loves the snow. Hates alot of other things, like vinyl floor (which covers the whole house) and stairs (none for him to worry about here, no need to go upstairs).

This photo was taken from our hotel balcony. This is how I remember Tofino. Obviously this owner is stuck in the 60's....and good on them!

I love it - that's how I remember my first trip to Tofino...with my Mommy & Daddy in 1996!
Its always striking how HUGE the trees out there are. Our tiny prairie trees are so small by comparison. Looks like you had lots of snow this winter.
